I believe every young woman deserves to be treated with love, respect, and like she is the beauty of all creation. Unfortunately in the world today many young women are experiencing far different realities. Women are struggling with this time of coming into womanhood; they struggle with feeling loved and accepted and struggle with their self confidence and worth. It is a problem that has plagued our society. More than ever young women are turning to drugs and alcohol, sex, and self depreciating acts because they feel like it will help them fit in or be accepted. They feel that if they have sex with their boyfriend they will be loved. They feel that their self worth is dependent upon what their peers think of them. However, this is all a lie. It is my goal through this blog and through an organization I am forming to help young women realize their beauty, potential, and power.
